A quality complaint includes any deficiency in the identity, quality, durability, reliability, safety, efficacy or performance of a product, which does not allow compliance with the pre-defined qualitative characteristics.
Here are some (non-exhaustive) examples:
- incorrect label
- expiry date and/or batch number absent or unreadable
- lack of drug inside the package
- faulty closure
- product of color or smell different from the norm
- presence of foreign bodies.
