People & Culture

Together, we are building our legacy to reimagine the way we deliver scientific breakthroughs, transform patients’ lives, and create an environment in which everyone can thrive

One journey, a shared vision

At Dompé, we are motivated by tough challenges and believe in embracing them to make a meaningful difference in our patients' lives.

While progress has impacted many, much remains to be done, especially for those with unmet needs.

That’s why we are at the forefront of medical innovation – not just because we are driven to explore what others won’t but because we are equipped to do so. We combine scientific expertise, cutting-edge technology and a robust organizational scale to turn vision into action – and action into impact.

"Together, we are building our legacy to reimagine the way we deliver scientific breakthroughs, transform patients’ lives, and create an environment in which everyone can thrive”

As we work to build a culture where everyone can align with our ambition, we bring our Values to life through our Operating Principles.
They are the glue that holds everything together, guiding our behavior and empowering us to live our culture.
They enable us to combine the stability of a 135-year heritage with the agility and dynamism of a start-up.

Ambition

We embrace tough challenges, act on what matters most, and push ourselves to continuously improve, creating impact for patients and the greater good.

Creativity

We challenge the status quo, explore new solutions, and fuel innovation across everything we do to improve patient outcomes.

People

We empower and support our colleagues, celebrate diverse perspectives, and lift up our teams and patients with care, trust, and respect.

Act on need, not precedent

We are empowered to courageously pursue indications that matter to our patients through an approach that is rooted in continuous improvement.

Achieve extraordinary results and celebrate success

We strive for excellence in everything we do, setting ambitious goals, delivering meaningful outcomes, and recognizing the achievements that move us and our patients forward.

Be accountable to make the difference

We take ownership of our work, ensuring our actions create real impact for patients, our colleagues and the organization, and we hold ourselves responsible for delivering on our commitment.

Love what you do, find what you love

We bring energy and passion to our work, seeking opportunities that inspire us and allow us to contribute at our best every day.

We, not them

We collaborate across teams, functions, and geographies, breaking down silos and prioritizing collective success over individual recognition.

Be generous with knowledge, perspectives and learning

We share what we know, seek diverse perspectives, and embrace opportunities to learn and grow together to strengthen our organization.

Diversity, equity and inclusion

At Dompé, every success comes from the collective contributions of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. We celebrate differences and believe that recruiting, leading, empowering and rewarding talent equitably, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, or religion, is key to better decisions and breakthroughs in innovation. People with extraordinary abilities and potential join Dompé because they want to make a difference.

Our responsibility is to create an environment where everyone feels safe, empowered and inspired to make a meaningful impact for themselves, for others and for the future of healthcare.

We create value through gender equality

A commitment to fairness and excellence in hiring and career development has helped us build a diverse, gender-balanced workforce.

Today, women represent over 53% of our nearly 1,000 employees across Europe and the U.S., including board-level leadership – reflecting our belief that inclusion drives innovation and strengthens our ability to serve patients globally.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made in closing the gender gap, but we know the work doesn’t stop here. That’s why we continue to encourage our leaders and people managers to actively support women’s mentorship and development across all areas of our organization, especially in STEM, where diverse perspectives are essential to advancing science and improving lives.

We promote racial equity in our communities

Racial equity is essential to building a more inclusive and innovative life sciences community.

We’re committed to creating opportunities that reflect this belief, starting with how we build our talent pool. As part of our commitment to our enduring Diversity, Equity & Inclusion plan, our paid Summer Internship Program in the U.S. is designed to open doors for high-potential graduate students, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, who are interested in exploring careers in the life sciences.

Interns work on challenging, business-critical projects, network with biotech professionals, and further refine their professional development plans to support long-term career success.  We also hold recruitment sessions at university campuses and post internships at specific universities and diversity-focused groups and associations to broaden our reach and expand opportunities for BIPOC candidate pools and students.

We aim for diversity in our clinical trials

Clinical trials are essential to understanding the safety and efficacy of new therapies for patients. We recognize that people from different ethnic and racial backgrounds may respond differently to the same treatment, which is why diverse representation in clinical research is so important.

Unfortunately, BIPOC patients remain significantly underrepresented in clinical studies. While many initiatives aim to increase participant diversity, they often overlook a critical element: BIPOC patients frequently seek care from BIPOC physicians and clinicians. Without diversity among researchers, the clinical research community risks missing critical connections to these patients. To address this gap, Dompé continuously applies DE&I insights to clinical trial site selection, prioritizes underrepresented areas and builds relationships with diverse providers who may become future partners.
