Franca Cattani
Process & Analytical Development Coordinator

Passion for research

I have always been passionate about finding out how the things around me have come into being. This is why I graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of Aquila and completed a research doctorate in Biomedical Sciences before joining the R&D department of the Dompé Group. I worked in preclinical pharmacology for seven years, coming into contact with the various business teams involved in the stages of the journey that takes a drug from discovery to clinical testing. My desire to contribute to the company goals in an even more informed way prompted me to obtain, during this period, a post-graduate specialization in Clinical Pathology. In 2009, I joined the Biotech Analytical Development team, which I have managed since 2012.

A fortunate choice

I love my job and I feel fortunate to be here because Dompé has always been a benchmark scientific company in Aquila, so for me it was a dream come true. As soon as I had the chance, I accepted the challenge of taking on a new, stimulating experience and I certainly have not been disappointed. I think our “strength” lies in the sense of teamwork, belonging, willingness and trust towards colleagues.

Everyone is involved

At Dompé, primary and secondary roles do not exist: everything is extremely important at every level, because it is through the union of everyone’s results that we reach our common goal. At the company, every project is comprehensively dealt with, without disregarding any aspect. This means having to constantly coordinate everybody’s different skills and to encourage their growth, because we offer and receive continuous and highly insightful training.

My experience?

Dynamic, exciting, fulfilling.
