Valentino Confalone is the new Dompé European Head of the Biotech Unit

    In his new role he will support the international development strategy of the company.

Milan, 6 May 2015. The biopharmaceutical Dompé Group has announced the appointment of Valentino Confalone as European Head of the Biotech Unit. Confalone, with a degree in Economics and Business Administration at the “Università Federico II di Napoli”, started his career in the Finance and Business Analysis areas and, later, dealing with the Strategic Business Planning for Levi Strauss in Belgium. After having earned an MBA from the IESE Business School in Barcelona, he entered the pharmaceutical world holding positions with increasing levels of responsibility. After a period spent in Spain, in the Sales and Marketing divisions of Schering-Plough, in 2004 he moved to Bristol-Myers Squibb, first in Rome, then in Paris in the positions of Marketing Director Oncolgoy for the European markets, of Virology Business Unit Director in France and, subsequently, of Oncology Market Access Leader Europe. In June 2013, he was appointed General Manager & President of Bristol-Myers Squibb in Portugal.
